PARKY'S COMING

11-10-2006

Top TV star Michael Parkinson is coming to Birmingham to raise cash for a teenage cancer charity. He'll be at the Rep on Sunday November 12.

The show will feature Parky reminiscing about some his great interviews, and there'll be clips featuring Muhammed Ali, Peter Sellers and Billy Connolly.

It's all for a good cause too. Cricket writer Matthew Engel lost his 13-year old son Laurie to cancer in 2005 and set up a charity in his name. The long term goal is to open a dedicated teenage cancer unit at Birmingham Childrens' Hospital.

Parky will be giving his time free, so the least you can do is go along and support him and have a great night in the process.

Tickets are £17.50. More details from the Rep box office on 0121 236 4455 or book online at www.birmingham-rep.co.uk
