NEW SPORTING ACCOLADE FOR BRUM

Birmingham has been selected to host the World Trampoline Championships in the year before the Olympics - giving us the chance to spot future medal winners less than 12 months ahead of the London games.

The event, which also encompasses tumbling and the double mini trampoline, will come to the NIA in 2011, and represents a feather in the cap of the city’s Task Force set up to capitalise on 2012.

Brum boasts to having staged more World and European sporting championships than any British city, including a previous trampoline World Championships in 2006.
