"NOTHING SUSPICIOUS" ABOUT JOKE STAR'S DEATH 26-10-2007
Investigators probing the death in Switzerland last week of former Killing Joke bassist Paul Raven from Wolverhampton have ruled out drugs or illegal substances as a contributory cause. 46-year old Raven, comes from Tettenhall, was discovered slumped in a chair on Saturday morning by former Prong drummer Ted Parsons. The pair had been out partying the night before after completing an album with French band Treponem Pal. Sources close to the family say that a preliminary autopsy indicates that he died of heart attack, but that there were no suspicious circumstances. Paul will be cremated abroad, but there will be a memorial service in the UK.
