THE STIRRER'S GOING TO THE DOGS

29-08-2006

Stirrer reader Paul Gebhard from Moseley has his greyhound Swift Kidnap making his debut tonight at Hall Green, so here's his form guide as he invites you (just for fun) to tip all six in finishing order...

Trap 1 BALLYEA MAGIC - an average starter; the only out and out inside runner/railer in the race she should get a clear run; recently clocking 29.50 seconds regularly but has a 29.10 on her card (some 5 lengths faster) as recent as this year. Is she a March 2002 bitch that timeseems catching up with, but have the owner & trainer been patiently waiting for the right opportunity?

Trap 2 FOXFORD LACE has won its last 2 races so in very good form butobviously now upped in class (won last time out in A6 class), a fairly good starter (4.80 sectional), runs "rails to middle" best time of about 29.50.

Trap 3 ANGEL TOP its first race at Hall Green (but has race experencewon in 29.56 Thurles in Ireland); sometimes fast away, best trial at Hall Green 29.52, runs amiddle course.

Trap 4 SWIFT KIDNAP his first ever race anywhere, best trial 29.68; owner thinks the dog is a trap 1 or trap 2 dog but racing manager has put the pup in the "coffin box" for his first ever race; at the moment he absolutely walks out of the boxes but then shows excellent early pace ; has loads of potential (only a December 2004) but inexperienced, backward and gangly.

Trap 5 ROOSTER RICH a wide runner, a fast starter (4.77) but only just sees out the distance, best time of 29.44.

Trap 6 CHERRYHILL GOD early paced very wide runner; has a best of 29.45 and has won in A4 but been off for a month (trialled back in 29.59)

Come on then! for fun try and pick the total finishing order and see who does best!!
