Goody: The Baddy and the Ugly 22-01-2007 What curious times we live in.People around the globe are coping with unseasonal weather, while Britain isstill counting the cost of last week's freak storms. No one's sure if it's proof of climate change, butas The Stirrer's resident poet Brendan Hawthorne observesthing havedefinitely been hotting up in theBig Brother house. Goody: The Baddy and the Ugly Ice crystalises lemons in the sunshine state as the climate changes in the theatre of hate Storms lash out with violence and force blowing peace and harmony way off due course Britain's z-list celebrity boom is gathering pace as Jade-the-Mouth motors with very little grace The planet and its politicians are begining to notice a bigot's infamous abuse that should now cease uttered with contempt by a sad lipo ballerina thinking she can big it on a main-stage arena Her words put firmly in the mouth of a liberal nation for the world to hear about its social degeneration Talk about injustice when we've come so far listening to the ‘Goody' instead of who we really are So brother how you doing in the ranting and ratings wars? Couldn't you put your effort towards a much better cause? Because when at last this low finally blows itself out you'll cost the damage caused when we cast the final vote copyright Brendan Hawthorne 2007 You can check out Brendan and other Black Country poets thisat www.poetrywednesbury.co.uk |
