BRB DANCES OFF WITH AWARD 23-10-2007 Congratulations to Birmingham Royal Ballet which has landed an "Outstanding Achievement In Dance Award" for its "Stravinsky - A Celebration" shows earlier this year. The gong was handed out at the Theatrical Management Awards in London on Sunday. The company's programme "Agon", "Symphony In Three Movements" and "Stravinsky's Violin Concerto" was premiered at the Hippodrome before touring nationwide. BRB Chief Executive Christopher Barron, was understandably chuffed, and said "The Stravinsky celebration is a unique collaboration between us and Birmingham's other flagship arts organisation the CBSO. "It will continue into next year when both organisations will present further examples of this great composer's work." Any Stirrer readers see the Stravinsky?
