Caerless Talk

Birmingham author Michael Richardson's long-awaited sequel to his acclaimed novel "The Pig Bin" has just been launched by Tindal Street Press - and you can see him reading an extract exclusively on Stirrer TV.

"Careless Talk" follows the further misadventures of schoolboy Morley Charles - a compulsive liar, who weaves himself into an ever greater web of intrigue because of his desire to be admired by his classmates.

Set in a Birmingham suburb at the end of World War Two, the book has already won the approval of another locally-based comic novelist David Lodge.
