STIRRER OFFERS FREE SLIDE AT BOTANICAL GARDENS 03-08-2007 Great news…the sun is shining, and one if the best kiddies' slides in the West Midlands is open for business again. What's more, The Stirrer is giving you the chance to enjoy it free. The slide is part of the excellent childrens' playground at the Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston…and (if you're a wuss) it's scarily high. The youngsters it's designed for don't seem to mind, though - in fact they can't get enough of it. Unfortunately, it was closed recently, and although The Stirrer feared a fiendish Health and Safety plot, it was just a temporary measure while a nearby drain was repaired. The work's been finished, and to celebrate - in this 175th anniversary year of the Botanical Gardens - we've got five family tickets to give away, on a first come, first served basis. As well as the playground, you can, of course, enjoy the tropical gardens, the bird house and beautiful grounds. Simply email editor@thestirrer.com saying free tickets please. Don't delay…they are sure to be popular. |
