As a collector of the unusual, The Stirrer's eye has been caught by an intriguing evening of music, film and poetry celebrating one of pop's greatest wordsmiths.

Hosted by best-selling author and Dylanologist Michael Gray (who wrote "Bob Dylan Sings The Blues") this is an exploration of Mr Zimmerman's creative sources.

Gray's other credits include the Bob Dylan Encyclopaedia and his recent acclaimed biog of the legendary bluesman Bline Willie McTell, so he certainly knows his stuff.

It sounds like a good one.
