TAKE THAT; POP LOSERS ARE COMEBACK KINGS

26-02-2007

Even Lazarus would be hard put to match this comeback trick…Take That, dead and buried loser popstars, have just announced four dates at the NEC as part of their latest tour confirming one of the most amazing musical resurrections of all time.

As former band member Robbie Williams swept all before him, songwriter Gary Barlow and the rest were written off as yesterday's men, relics of the early 90s. How wrong we were.

With Robbie in rehab and his chart career on the slide, the reformed Take That have found a second lease of life; their aptly named “Patience” went to number one and scooped a Brit Award, while the album it comes from “Beautiful World” shifted 1.3 million copies making it the second best seller of 2006. Good luck to ‘em we say.

The NEC dates are Friday 16, Saturday 17, Monday 18, and Tuesday 19 November 2007.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, 2 March at 9am from www.necgroup.co.uk or from 0870 909 4133
