STRICTLY COME DANCING LIVE

27-11-2007

You just can’t get enough of it can you? Two nights of twinkle-toed action at the NEC has suddenly ballooned to four with the addition of extra tour dates for the show based on the successful BBC TV series.

It’s a simple format really.

A bunch of celebs including the cricketer Darren Gough, soap star Letitia Dean, actor Matt Di Angelo, DJ Zoe Ball and local Olympian Denise Lewis team up with professional dancers and strut their stuff in front of a bunch of knowledgeable judges.

Er, and that’s it. There are no frills – except on the costumes – which may explain why it’s readily translated into a hit TV series in 25 countries. The final of the last series on BBC1 drew a whopping 12 million viewers.

All the signs are that the stage show will be just as popular, with the original NEC dates on 16 and 17 Feb now being supplemented with further shows on 18 and 19 Feb.

Tickets priced between £32.50 and £45 (plus fees) are on sale now from www.theticketfactory.com
