HACKERS NET HARMAN “RESIGNATION”

Justice Minister Harman has quit and sensationally defected to the Tories – at least if you believe her website. The MP for Camberwell and Peckham has, in fact, been the victim of a successful hacker who posted a fake resignation letter.

What’s remarkable is how long it’s been allowed to stand. The article has been on the web since the early hours of this morning, though will no doubt be taken off shortly (http://www.harrietharman.org/).

The article links to a witty spoof blog called The Happy Blog Of Harriet Harman (http://harrietharman.blogspot.com/)

This asserts that she supports Boris Johnson, the Conservative candidate in the London mayoral election.

"Harriet" writes:  "You have to give it to those Herne Hill Conservatives. They sure know how to convince a woman.  The Boris Johnson leaflet is so pretty and glossy, how can I resist?"

It’s worth a look for witty gems like “It’s Only 10p For Crying Out Loud” and “Polly Toynbee, Genius and Intellectual Giant”.
