Following an appeal for help on The Stirrer earlier this week, we’re delighted to announce a disco to mark John Peel day – and your editor will be manning the wheels of steel.

Reader Nick Roberts-Allatti called for help in setting an event to mark the anniversary of the great music guru (see link here) and the result is a “do” upstairs at Patrick Kavanagh’s in Moseley.

The full DJ line up includes Goldberg playing punk classics, Roberts-Allatti hitting the roots reggae, Steve Beauchampe with post-punk sounds, and Birmingham:It’s Not Shit editor John Bounds delving into the “Miscellaneous” section.
