Laurence Inman
Laurence Inman taught English for 20 years. Then some ambitious underling in Whitehell ordered him to stop teaching and prepare the kids for banal tests instead, while he (Inman) wasted hours ticking boxes on forms which were collected and stuffed in a drawer somewhere until they were forgotten and could be safely thrown away. Now he (Inman) spends his time on his 'projects': writing, performing, basically showing off whenever an opportunity presents itself.
He can be seen most days shouting at his dog Bill in Highbury Park, or running out of Sainsburys on Kings Heath High Street. He thinks all our problems can be solved if we immerse ourselves in the study of Roman Stoicism. If you ask him ,'Is there too much suffering in the world ?' his answer is likely to be, 'No, there's exactly the right amount.' |
