MIKE WILMOT (Glee Club, June 18)

The Time Out award winner Mike Wilmot arrives in Brum next month for his only current date outside London, following a successful West End run at the Soho Theatre.
 
Wilmot's been knocking around the UK circuit since the mid 90's and comes highly rated by the critics.
 
According to the Sunday Times, this bear of a man is a " fast talking stand-up whose close-to-the-bone reportoire leaves the audience in a state of hilarity most comedians can only dream [about].
 
Time Out reckon he can, "give any other stand-up alive lessons in the power of laughter."
 
His laughter lines come from everyday observation an anecdote - kids, sex and diets.
 
Wilmot has toured with Rich Hall and appeared in Rich Hall's Fishing Show and Rich Hall's Cattle Drive and - just to prove that he can get work without Rich Hall - Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
