CAMCORDER COUNCILLOR’S VIDEO BOMBSHELL

30-06-2007

Birmingham’s camcorder councillor Martin Mullaney has been unearthing a curious nugget of local history in his latest video - highlighting a so-called “Angry Wall” at the home of Joseph Chamberlain.

The wall in question is at Highbury Hall in Moseley, and is made up of discarded bombshells.

Chamberlain apparently had it installed directly opposite the house of the pacifist Cadbury family to show his disdain for their views.

Wonder if he's get planning permission for it now? Maybe it would win the Turner Prize.

Who knows...anyway, after being overgrown for 20 years the wall has been cut back by offenders on probation and can now be seen in all it's glory here
