THE WAR ON ERROR?

16/17-09-2006

Paul Gebhard lets rip in defence of George Bush and Tony Blair who he reckons have got it spot on in the War On Terror. Seriously. Guardian readers and thoseof a nervous disposition should look away now as Gebby lights the blue touchpaper.

The people opposed to the War On Terror - and I know there are plenty of them among The Stirrer's readership -are typical Guardian reading (and often self hating) minority lovers who actuallyloathe the U.K. (yet still live here) and America. You are the very same liberals thatwould have been the appeasers in the 1940's and pro-Soviet during the Cold War. This battle against the Islamofascists who want to destroy us is just the next bohemian 'cause' for you to rail against.

You are so so full of double standards, that you spout abelief in feminism, democracy and freedom of expression but hey if youare asked about the way the Islamofascistsbelieve in enslaving women and are so intolerant that they believe that anybody who disagrees with them should be killed andare alsototally against freedom of expression or religion you mysteriously go quiet.

Another huge double standard and irony is that the overwheming majority of you lefties are also anti religion - normally, that is, but hey ho when it suits will conveniently forget thisto support just aboutanyone as long as they areagainst the Americans.

Wake up and realise that these Islamofascists are not against us because of foreign policy or Israel etc. (a huge smokescreen)- ITS BECAUSE ISLAM HAS FAILED

Every Islamic country has and continues to fail, is backward and is extremely poor ( except for the ones who, by totalaccidenthave oil and even they are still massively poorer than us). This is the REAL reason that they hate us (i.e. the west - and in particular America's) SUCCESS. Theybelieve that they should be the richest most developed nations on earth because they "have a god given right" as they are the 'best' (as in most religious and correct)i.e. "Allah's way is the only way" and any other way is evil (not an iota of tolerance evident there methinks - do you?); and because the harsh reality is that actually they are notthat prosperous drives them ravingmad and that's why they hate us.

We have two options; eitherfollow the lefty way and give in to these fanatical murderers or stand up for our way of life and freedom. I know what I choose.

The REAL problem though is that this war has only just started. At some point Iran andSyria just have to be dealt with as we cannot allow the mad mullahs to have nuclear weapons and I still don't believe Blair's latest best mucker Gadaffi will stay quiet (watch this space)

This conflict has a long way to go but would, I believe, be expedited if a certain percentage of society actually woke up, stopped being P.C. andfaced up to what is admittedly a desperately sad reality and tackled it head on.

Has Paul got it spot on in his analysis of international relations? Is he telling a few unpalatable truths? Or is he representative of the crude and simplistic right-wing thinking that got us into this mess in the first place. Tell us on the messageboard.
