THE STIRRER JOINS JOURNEY TO JUSTICE

Stirrer editor Adrian Goldberg has been named as the host for Journey To Justice - a major event at the ICC marking the tenth anniversary of the launch of the global debt campaign in Birmingham.

In 1998, thousands of ordinary citizens formed a human chain around the G8 Summit of world leaders at the same venue, calling for a change in attitude towards poverty-stricken nations.

A decade on, 36 countries still need their debt cancelled, so this will be a vital rallying point for everyone interested in international justice.

There’ll be events in Centenary Square from 12.30, then its indoors to the ICC at 2.30 for a range of speakers and films.
