WOLVO CHIEF EXEC – “I’M STAYING”

The chief executive of Wolverhampton City Council Richard Carr has emphatically denied rumours on our Message Board that he’s quitting or looking for another job.

Posters claiming to be "in the know" suggested that he had another position lined up in Islington, prompting us to put the question directly to Richard via the Council Press Office.

As responses go, this one couldn’t be more unequivocal: “There is absolutely no truth whatsoever in suggestions that Richard Carr is leaving.”

So there!
